Local Covid infection rates by alert level, 19 October to 25 October

On 12 October 2020, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson introduced local alert levels as a means of implementing a local lockdown strategy to control the spread of Covid-19. These alert levels, ranging from medium to high to very high, in turn determine the stringency of lockdown measure in the areas where they are active. In the map below, areas are elevated according to their level of Covid-19 infection per capita and are colored in according to their alert level (red is very high, orange is high, and grey is medium).
